This page is intended to give you information about our building and services to make things easy for you as you worship with us today. We would also love to hear from you! Calvary's Building
Our worship service is held in the sanctuary on the main floor. The service usually begins right on time. The piano will play a short prelude few minutes before the service starts. If there are no seats left in the sanctuary, there is an overflow space with a live feed of the service downstairs at the end of the hallway.
Bathrooms
The bathrooms are located downstairs, across from the coat rack. On the wall in front of the bathrooms you’ll see a bulletin board with all our upcoming activities and events.
Handicap Access
Our building is older and has limited handicap access. There is a chair lift behind the pulpit to access the lower floor. If you have any questions, please speak with one of our greeters.
Nursery
We maintain a well-staffed and clean nursery for kids under 3 at our 8:30 and 11:15 AM services. We love children and you may notice several babies and toddlers stay in worship with us! We want to include them the way Jesus welcomed little ones into his presence. If you would like to use the nursery, please bring your child downstairs. You’ll find the nursery behind a glass door on the left side of the hallway. During the worship service, the pastors’ offices near the bathrooms are reserved for nursing mothers.
Sunday School
During the school year we also offer Sunday School classes for all ages. The adults generally meet in the sanctuary. Elementary and younger aged children’s classrooms are located downstairs. Our Junior and Senior High classes meet next door at Westminster Seminary. If you need help finding a class, please speak with a greeter or one of the pastors.
Parking
Parking Attendants will be available before the 11:15 am service. When parking in the middle of the church lot on Sunday mornings, please park 3 cars deep with front tires on the white line.
Additional parking is available on Willow Grove Avenue on the street, and in the WTS and CCEF lots.
Calvary's Services
We believe worship is a meeting together of God and his people. At the beginning of our services the Lord calls us together into his presence. We hear from him as his word is read and proclaimed, then respond to him in our prayers and songs. Our music is mostly taken from the Trinity Psalter Hymnal, and we also sing a selection of recent hymns and songs. We usually stand for singing and other moments in the service, we will ask you to please rise and be seated as you are able.
Every Sunday morning near the end of our service we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. The Supper is open to anyone who has publicly professed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and is trying to live in a way that pleases him. If you are a professing believer, you are welcome to join us as we come to our savior’s table.
On a typical Sunday we hold three worship services. The 8:30 and 11:15 AM services are almost identical. Our 6 PM service is a separate service with additional songs and a different message. Many of Calvary’s people come back to close out the day with worship, we would love for you to join us! Our summer schedule is a little different, please click HERE for updated information.
